Three sisters desperately want to leave their parents’ house in Etobicoke and move downtown. There are no obstacles. Therefore, they do not go. A Chekhovian melodrama about sibling rivalry, family dysfunction, and longing set in today’s Toronto, with way more plastic surgery, cupcakes, and paranormal activity than turn-of-the-century Russia.
