A drama set in the Tenderloin district of New Orleans in 1930, featuring the music of the Boswell Sisters. Three young singers are drawn into the hot jazz world - a world where they don't really belong, where they discover what it costs to commit to an artist's life, and the sisterhood that nurtures it.
