A dying painter offers a collector a deal: if he stays with her during her final moments of life, he gets her most expensive painting. The catch is the painter wants to kill herself, much to the anguish of her neurotic assistant who is much more than he seems. This twisted and hilarious comedy makes fun of the pretension of people who live and work in th world of art. But it also looks at the valuable relationship between art and life and the friends who are attracted to it. Nominated for two Jessie Richardson Theatre Awards, Landscape of the Dead is a heartfelt comedy about life and art.
