Happy Birthday Baby J is the story of two parents and their friends who have gone on a weekend cottage retreat to celebrate the second birthday of their child J, who they are raising without a gender. This 90 minute one-act is a biting comedy that examines bias, performativity, and ultimately the consequences of masculinity in the modern world. Oh, and there are a lot of bad words.
